In the past fiscal year, American Red Cross of Southwest Washington responded to 107 fires, 10 floods and three storm-related incidents; mobilized relief to 149 families affected by local disasters; collected 24,589 units of blood; trained more than 16,851people in vital lifesaving and disaster preparedness skills; and provided outreach programs to 302 members of the Armed Forces and their families. There were 3,068 volunteers who gave of their time.
Funding - 92% of gifts received go directly into programs
In addition, donations from 4,373 individuals and 427 corporate donors helped provide all these services by the your local American Red Cross with 92% of local donations going to fund local services.
